The central board of secondary education will conduct the 15th
edition of central teacher eligibility test (CTET) in CBT (Computer based test
0 mode between 16-12-2021 to 13-01-2021 (exact date will be intimated on the
admit card of the candidate ). The test will be conducted in 20 (Twenty)
languages throughout the country. The detailed information bulletin containing
details of examination,syllabus ,languages, eligibility criteria , examination
fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official

and the aspiring candidates are requested to download the information bulletin
from the above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before
applying . the aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET

onwards and the last date for submitting online application is 19-10-2021

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2021
application process is underway. Eligible candidates can apply online for the
15th edition of the CTET exam now. The CTET 2021 notification and application
form were released by the CBSE on September 20. The CTET exam will be held from
December 16, 2021 to January 13, 2022 in the online mode as a Computer Based
Test (CBT). In order to enable candidates to practice for the online exam, CBSE
has made available the model question paper and mock tests that candidates can
access at the test practice centres (TPCs).
A list of CTET practice centres with address and contact
details are available on the official website. Candidates can use the services
of these centres free of cost to attamot the CTET mock test. The CTET model
question paper is also available online to make candidates familiar with the
types of questions expected in the exam. Candidates can practice for the exam by
attempting these questions and mock tests. The CTET exam pattern and syllabus
remain the same for Paper 1 and Paper 2.

What is CTET?
CTET is a national-level exam conducted by the Central Board
of Secondary Education (CBSE). The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is
conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for
appointment as teachers for Classes 1 to 8. The CTET exam is held in two
sessions for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The CTET Paper 1 is for candidates who want
to teach Classes 1-5 and Paper 2 is for candidates who want to teach Classes
6-8. Candidates who wish to teach Classes 1-8 need to take both papers.

The CTET application form 2021 was released along with the
notification on September 20, 2021. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility
criteria can apply online by visiting the official website. To fill the form,
candidates need to pay the examination fee. The fee is Rs 1,000 for General and

The CBSE released the CTET notification 2021 on September 20,
2021 on the official website- ctet.nic.in. The CTET exam will be conducted from
December 16, 2021 to January 13, 2022 in online mode. The notification contains

CTET Exam Analysis 2021
CTET 2020-21 was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary
Education (CBSE) on January 31 in two shifts. The CTET Paper 1 was held from
9:30 am -12 noon and Paper 2 from 2:00-4:30 PM.
CTET Paper 1 Analysis
As per the feedback received from the candidates, the CTET
Paper 1 was easy, there was no major change in pattern and difficulty level of
the exam, however, few candidates found the maths section calculative and
lengthy.

CTET Registration vs Result
Every year, over 20 lakh aspirants appear for the CTET exam.
In January 2021, a total of 23,51,725 candidates appeared for the exam, of
which, 6,54,299 candidates qualified. In December 2019, close to 24 lakh
candidates appeared for CTET out of which 5.42 lakh qualified, as per media
reports. In July 2019, a total of 23.77 lakh aspirants took the CTET exam out
of which 3.52 lakh candidates qualified.

CTET Exam Process 2021
The CTET selection process includes the following steps.
Step 1: Fill CTET application form
Aspirants need to fill their CTET 2021 application form in
the online mode on the official website of the exam. Candidates also need to
pay the CTET application fee of Rs 1,000 (for one paper) and Rs 1,200 (for two
papers).
Step 2: Download CTET admit card
Candidates can download CTET 2021 admit card from the
official website of the exam. The admit card for the CTET exam contains
relevant details related to the aspirant and exam. It also mentions the
candidate’s test centre details as well as reporting time for the exam.
Step 3: Appear for CTET exam
Aspirants need to report at their CTET exam centre at least
90 minutes before the commencement of the exam. CTET exam is of two and a half
hour duration. On exam day, two papers are conducted. Paper 1 needs to be given
by aspirants who want to qualify for teaching classes I-V (primary wing). Paper
1I is for candidates who want to qualify for teaching classes VI-VIII
(elementary wing).
Step 4: Check CTET result
CBSE announces CTET results on the official website of the
exam. Candidates who qualify the exam get a CTET eligibility certificate. The
validity of the CTET eligibility certificate has been extended from seven years
to lifetime.

However, now the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and CBSE as well
has officially extended the CTET passing certificate validity to lifetime.
Q: Will I get the job after clearing the CTET exam?
A: Qualifying CTET exam does not guarantee a job to a
candidate. It is only one of the eligibility criteria for employment.
Candidates need to appear for the recruitment process of schools such as KVS,
NVS and others to get a teaching job.
Q: Will CBSE or CTET unit give me a job if I clear the exam?
A: No, the CBSE or CTET unit is an exam conducting body and
does not offer employment to any candidate. It only awards the CTET
certificates to candidates who qualify the exam.
Q: Can I apply for CTET again if I had already qualified the
exam before?
A: Yes, you can apply for the CTET exam again after
qualifying once. There is no restriction on the number of attempts for
