PROSPECTUS CUM APPLICATION FROM FOR ADMISSION TEST IN JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYAS FOR ADMISSION IN CLASS IX DURING 2020-21 AGAINST
1.0 INTRODUCNON
In accordance with the National policy of education [1986]. Government of india started jawahar novodaya vidyalayas [jnvs] all over the country except the stote of tomil nodu . there are co-educational. Eresidential schools.fullyfincept by government of iomil under and run by an ausidential    
2.0    OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHEME
2.0     To orovide good puality modem eduction including a   
           strong component of culture inculation of values
           awareness of the environment
2.2     TO ensure that students attain a reasonadle level of                      compency in three languages as envisaged in three Language                                  F  ormula
2.3       To serve in each distirct as focal point improvement of quality of school educatin in genral through sharing of experiences and facilitlies
2.4         To promote national integration throation of students from Hindi to non –Hindi  speaking state and vice –versa
3.0DISTRIBUTION OF JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALYAS
At present ,there are 636 functional jawahar Navodya vidalayas  spread over 28 states and 07 UTs
4.0 ADMISSION TO CLASS IX AGAINST VACANT SEATS
In order to optimally utilize the infrastructure and other facilities available in these vidyalayas,

Online applicafions may be submission from 24 ‘’ October 2019. The candidate moy refer to NVS hqrs website

6.0       VENUE &DATE OF THE SELECTION TEST
             Selection test for admission to class ix will be conducted on satuday ,the 8 February 2020  in jawahar Navodaya vidyalaya of concemed district /any other centre allotted by NVS
7.0 RESULT OF SELECTION TEST
Result of the selection test may be noted from the application portal of NVS through ehich application is submitted
1.0                ELIGIBILTY 
1.1                Only those candidates who are studying Cladd vlll during the Academic session 2019-20 in one of of the Govt/Govt.
1.2                Canhdidate appearing for the admission test must qualify/ pass Class vlll in the academic session 2019-20 from a Govt/Govt .
1.3                Acandidate seeking admission must be bom between 01.05.2004 and 30.04.2008 (both days inclusive)
